Shaper Partially Porous particles are made from highly pure, inert silica. Each particle consists of a solid, nonporous, impermeable silica core surrounded by a porous shell layer.
We meticulously control the core-to-shell ratio to achieve optimal performance. Available in 1.7 ?m and 2.6 ?m sizes, these particles offer a range of selectivities that address the daily
challenges faced by scientists in research and development.

  • 1.7 & 2.6µm particles
  • Narrow particle size distribution leads to a reduced A term in the Knox equation, maximizing efficiency at a given pressure.e
  • Porous layer : 0.4µm

Column Dimensions: Available in inner diameters of 2.1 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.6 mm, with lengths of 50 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, and 250 mm.
These columns are an excellent choice for optimizing classical validated methods as well as developing new analytical methods.

Available stationary phases :

  • C18 Ultra Inert : Hydrophobic retention mechanism designed for the analysis of acids, bases, and neutral compounds. pH stability: 1 to 12.
  • Bi-Phenyl : USP L11, Offers greater selectivity for difficult-to-resolve compounds or those that elute early using a C18 phase. Ideal for separating aromatic and moderately polar analytes.
  • Phenyl-Hexyl : USP L11, Provides orthogonal selectivity to C18, specifically designed for the analysis of polar aromatic compounds. pH stability: 1 to 12.
  • Penta FP : USP L43, Utilizes pi-pi interactions, dipole interactions, hydrogen bonding, and ionic interactions to analyze highly polar compounds. Can also be used in HILIC mode. pH stability: 1 to 12
  • Hilic-DH : USP L20, Designed for the separation of highly polar compounds (Log P < 0.5) that cannot be separated on C18 columns. Functions under high percentages of organic solvents.
